Everything was great, and the staff was awesome. However, the elevator was VERY dirty, and the tiled walkway to the elevator was very wet. The entrance to the pool is right next to the elevator

It was a good no-frills experience.
On check-in, they advised that bookings by 3rd parties (Expedia) are subject to an additional $5 fee. I advised that I pre-paid for the booking and that there shouldn’t be any additional fees—that’s why I booked through Expedia. They offered a one-time removal of the fee.
Other than that brief moment, it was great. Place is clean, Staff was pleasant, and the breakfast was tasty.
