The hotel is very grant and historical, located in the center, very convenient, free order to make breakfast and welcome cocktails drinks in a bar, very nice staff and reception. Only the room is a little bit old and the sound proof need to be improved

If you want to experience a bit of the history of Lima, there is no better place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and you feel like you’re stepping back in time being there. I imagined all the people who stayed there over the past 100 yrs.
Since it is historic, be prepared for some cracks and creaks and absence of amenities like a hair dryer. But the kind staff, generous breakfast, free Pisco Sour drink ticket, and privilege of sharing in the Gran Bolivar’s illustrious history, more than makes up for anything it lacks!

Second stay there with my wife, get the suite which was worth it (comes with its own AC). Staff super helpful. Streets are bit noisy at night but not too bad. Close to the historic center, my fav choice when visiting this part of town.
