This hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location. Full of history from the Sound of Music movie, wirh the added bonus of a spectacular mountain view. Breakfast was good and rhere were many choices. We booked two rooms. One room was excellent but the other was a bit odd with the bed in the center of the room and inconvenient outlets. Both rooms were updated and A/C worked great. Location is away from city center so we had to Uber in and out but we all thought it was worth it to stay here.

From the amazing historic building to the finishings in our room, the views and the breakfast, it was all absolutely perfect. Truly not just an overnight day but an experience.
