Great break along the Cape Wrath trail. A welcome respite with great food, clean rooms, warm showers and engaging hosts.

Kate gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and we were delighted with our room, so pretty and comfortable. After a rainy day it felt good to sit by the window, drink tea and read.
Hot, hot water and a nice long bathtub!
Breakfast was delicious and the view lovely. Mary was so friendly, it was a pleasure to chat and learn a little about the community she loves.

We had such a lovely stay in Strathcarron. We honestly didn’t know what to expect when we arrived, as we had mainly chosen the place because of its great location for exploring the area by car.
From the moment we arrived, though, we felt so welcome. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. There was just such a lovely, genuine atmosphere about the place, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home.
