We stayed 1 night at Ibis-Basel. It's close to the station and you easily reach the city centre either walking or via tram.
It was quiet, comfortable and the room was clean. We are a family of 4, stayed in a spacious room with 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed.
Breakfast was included , it was buffee style with a selection of yoghurt, cereals, fruit, warm breakfast, differemt types of bread and some pastries.
They also offered water and hot beverages at the reception for free.
I would definitely recommend it.
