Union Road Moto Velo

This was my second stay here whilst visiting my son at Exeter University. Moto Velo is <20 mins from the Uni Campus, This place caught my eye as it allows dogs to stay at a reasonable price, much better than the ridiculous amount some of the hotels in Exeter were charging. Plus it comes with free convenient parking. Check-in is faceless with easy to follow instructions. Place is immaculately clean, very comfortable and you have access to a shared kitchenette (containing wine glasses and a fridge) and lounge (there are only 6 bedrooms in total). Hotel is located in walking distance to restaurants, take-aways and a small supermarket. Breakfast is served in the coffee shop downstairs, coffee is so smooth and thoroughly recommended! Continental breakfast included: boiled eggs, croissants, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice, toast and crumpets with the usual jams & spreads, enough to get you started.

Spacious room. Ensuite was very clean. Great that there is a kitchen & communal lounge area. Lovely continental breakfast. Off-road parking is a bonus. Low-key and easy access.

We chose this hotel as the price was reasonable, and it looked a little quirky. We were not disappointed and loved our short stay. Parking and access to the room was thoroughly explained and easy, and the room was incredibly clean and cosy. We will definitely be staying here again!
