Overall we had a great stay. Hotel very clean, staff great. Our evening meals were excellent. The breakfasts were a bit of a disappointment. My order was bacon and egg. When i came it looked like the one rasher of bacon had been cut in half. Similarly my wife's poached eggs were garnished with half a tomato. One small point for a hotel of this standard the toilet paper was a very poor standard.

Excellent location for those exploring the southern and western parts of Dumfries and Galloway. Very nice large hotel near the water. Nice room and bathroom. Excellent restaurant with many choices for dinner and breakfast. Easy to walk around town from the hotel. Large car park (free). Staff members were friendly and helpful.
