I am 6'6" and currently have limited mobility following an operation. Stairs were a slight problem and i got room 3 which as someone else mentioned had sloping ceilings in parts but there were numerous 'mind your head' signs. Room was compact and clean with two single beds. Limited parking - i ended up being told to park on part of the pavement outside the inn.
Owner was very helpful but seemed to be pretty stressed with everything he had to do. Bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food very good.
No breakfast
Would i go back - probably not with my current mobility problems but i would recommend to any others

Really enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was comfortable. Rooms were clean and warm. Staff were lovely and so helpful. We had a baby with us and Derek, the owner, kindly gave us another room as there was not a lot of space in the room to accomodate our portable cot. The food in the pub was really good too. Didn’t have the breakfast as we were visiting family but we enjoyed the evening meals there. Would highly recommend.

Lovely country pub with beautiful rooms upstairs. Really friendly staff and the view on the way to my room were the best I had all day, and I had covered 270 miles 😳
