Lovely helpful staff clean room great value with nice food

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere.

We had a warm welcome from the start. The bar meals were varied and very good, pies, stroganoff, burgers and curry all very tasty. Our room had everything we needed, flat screen TV, kettle, shower and breakfast choices were very good with cereals,toast and hot choices. We would definitely recommend the hotel

From the moment I walked in, this hotel had such a warm and welcoming feel — quiet, peaceful, and clearly run with real care and attention to detail. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly relax. A special shoutout to Gary at the front desk — he was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, going out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. His warm hospitality made the whole stay feel even more special. If you’re looking for a calm, well-run hotel with genuinely caring staff, I’d highly recommend this one. Will definitely be back!
