Lovely staff who clearly care for the lodge. Great parking and walking distance from the parks and CBD which was really handy for us.
The rooms are clean, maintained and as expected. Basic kitchenette with bare essentials but that did not bother us as we did not cook main meals there.
The bathroom is spacious and having a giant tub (with a shower) was a bonus.
Overall, the decor and furnishings are older and a refresh wont hurt, but we did not expect luxury, so it did not bother us.
