The location of the hotel is superb right across from the train station, perfect if you are training in from Ichinoseki, and easy to go into town as there are local transit and taxi always waiting at the station.
Room is neat and clean and staff is very friendly and helpful even if your Japanese is lacking.
Breakfast buffet has half Japanese and half western options.
A great choice of lodging to see this charming little Tōhoku town!

Great breakfast always freshly cooked and a good variety of dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful gave me an early check in and stored my luggage before I moved to next hotel allowing me to do a short day hike on the michinoku trail. The only nearby convenience store is in Kesennuma station. There is a great katsu place on the station courtyard. Please order a proper meal there and pay cash. If you are in a group make a reservation as it gets quite crowded.
