This hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The room was a bit warm with no AC and it was unusual that the lobby area closed at 10:30 pm as it would have been a nice place to sit and have a drink or play cards.
Everything else was great!!

The Scot is one of the best if not the best accommodation for passer by’s through the picturesque town of Oban. Located in the very middle of everything, with restaurants, shops, and the Instagrammable little port not more than a couple of minutes walking distance away. Rooms are very well maintained and appointed. The bathrooms are a little small but modern and very clean. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to Oban

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent, and the parking safe and ample. Two negatives: (1) no elevator, which makes coming and going difficult, even if you are ambulatory, and (2) the hotel is across the street from a very loud, rough bar; the music was loud, and the patrons very intoxicated.
