We were very impressed with the overall hotel, the staff and the architecture. The food was really good for lunch and dinner. For lunch, we sat at the bar and was served by Kaitlyn, who was very polite, helpful and professional. All your staff was very polite and helpful, but Kaitlyn was particularly good at it. Next time we’re in Liverpool will be sure to stay at this hotel, without fail!

We had an excellent stay but we were let down by Expedia and I wouldn’t use Expedia again. I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights six months ago at £300 per room per night. The rooms came down in price by 50% a few weeks before our stay.
Despite Expedia’s chat help telling me they would refund me the difference through their best price guarantee when customer services emailed me they said this was no longer available.
So it cost me an extra £1000 booking in advance using Expedia, next time I will book a few weeks before directly with the hotel.

This is a lovely historic hotel, centrally located. From the very beginning the staff was right there to make us feel welcome and cared for. It was easy to find your way in the hotel and the room was spacious, clean, beautiful and comfortable. There were thoughtful extras too. The bar and breakfast very good and a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. I would love to stay again!
