Unfortunately there was an emergency plumbing issue but they were nice enough to find me a replacement place to stay right next door. Which was clean and convenient

We took a 12 day family trip and visited multiple towns in Alaska. The Sauerdough Lodging was one of our favorite guest houses because the location was amazing and the hosts made it the check-in and check-out process so easy. Our host communicated early and anticipated our arrival, unlike the other guest houses we visited. I juggled plane travel, train travel, shuttles, and lodging for my family, and I appreciated their proactive communication to ensure everything went smoothly. I’m very pleased with our experience, and I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Would like to especially brag about the housekeeper, she was so helpful to us. Her kindness was appreciated and very helpful. I hope the owner sees this comment. Room was clean and location was great.

This place was so adorable and cozy. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to restaurants (Highly recomend The Flamingo for dinner) and the Rowdy Radish downstairs was great for coffee and breakfast. The building is obviously old, but it added a neat charm. The owners were very good with communication and very helpful. (Shoutout to CS!) Wonderful place, highly recommend. Will definitely stay again someday!
