Napoli centro, DM suites

The staff was quite attentive, we could also check in a little earlier which was a big convenience. There is coffee, a small oven and normal fridge which is a bonus. The location is in the walkable distance from all the main attractions and bus/train/ferry stops.

Unfortunately, we did not feel very comfortable or safe during our stay. The apartment has a strange layout — the “private” bathroom was actually across the hallway and had a frosted glass door, which did not provide much privacy. Our room was also connected to the kitchen by a semi-transparent door secured only with a very small latch, which did not feel particularly secure. Light and noise from the kitchen also came through easily. Because of this, we did not feel that the room offered an appropriate level of privacy or security. There was also a strange balcony in the room, and we were not sure whether someone else had access to it or whether they could potentially look into our room. This made us feel even more uncomfortable. The apartment and the building are old and in need of renovation. The entrance and staircase are in poor condition, and the area did not make us feel particularly safe. The bathroom and especially the shower were not very clean, towels were not replaced, and there was no cleaning during our stay. Overall, the apartment needs improvement in terms of cleanliness, privacy and security.
