Price, location, pleasant, just good value.
Unfortunately I arrived very late ( my fault) so I missed the evening meal that I was looking forward to at the previous visit was excellent .

Great location
Showing its age, but if you want a village pub, keep supporting them, it’s a Catch 22

A very homely and pleasant place to stay the one night we had there. Rooms spacious and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.

The location was beautiful, such a pretty village. The room was basic but the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub had a great atmosphere and it was an interesting old building.
The cafe next door was superb for breakfast luckily.
The bathroom was tatty & a bit grubby. The shower needed fixing. The food in the pub was very basic
