Charming house in a peaceful setting near Ostuni.

- Portable AC unit in a bedroom lacked an exhaust hose for hot air, making it unusable (this needs fixing). - Living room air conditioning did not work. - Hasty check-in with no explanation. - No guide on how the house works—especially the lighting—which was a nightmare. - Non-potable water; this was not mentioned on the website. - No smoking allowed, including outdoors (not mentioned on the website). - Trash and recycling (sorting was good) had to be taken to Ostuni (7 km away) for disposal. - Two adjoining bedrooms (not mentioned on the website). - The gate was far away and had to be closed on foot in the dark (dangerous due to the sloping ground on the side). - No soap in the bathrooms (not even at the sinks for handwashing). - Very limited supply of toilet paper. - House rules listing prohibitions had to be signed upon arrival—again, a rushed process; why couldn't this be done beforehand?
