The location was excellent, you really can’t get much better than this considering it’s in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Tokyo. It was very clean. The washer came in handy. Though the kitchen was awesome, a coffee maker and/or basic spices such as salt & pepper would’ve been helpful. Other than that, what utensils were there, was very handy! I actually needed help from customer service and they were so helpful.
Could use a little more condiments in the kitchen. A stool in the bathroom would also go a long way.

Wooden bed frame makes it narrow to get past at the end of the bed.

The apartment is located perfectly in the laid-back and quiet neighborhood of Shimokitazawa. The train station is 2 minutes away, giving you access to two lines and taking you to Shibuya in 10 minutes. You can access anything in 2-minutes (konbini, shops, restaurants, etc.)
The apartment is nice, clean, bright, and newish in a newly built building.
The apartment could benefit from a few more wall hooks, shelves, and storage spaces to keep your belongings. The apartment seems to be perfect for two people. We were there with two kids as a family of four. In this setup, the bedroom with two double beds was a bit tight for us; the second double bed is only accessible if you climb over the first bed.

The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well-located. The interior design and amenities were nice, and it felt like a good space for the price on paper.
Communication with the host was poor we arrived about 3 hours before check-in wanting to drop off our luggage, but nobody responded to our messages, so we ended up paying for a luggage storage service nearby ourselves. There was also construction happening near the building, which added noise. Some of the house rules felt excessive for guests separating trash by paper, plastic, etc. is understandable, but being asked to remove the bags from the bins, tie them, and leave them ready for collection felt like an unreasonable amount of work for a paid stay.
