Cardigan Bay Guest House

Top location, helpful staff, great coffee shop on the ground floor.

Fantastic location. Great view.

Basic accommodation but clean and tidy

Good sized room for a single with separate toilet and sink very clean and good value

Not a lot took me a while to work out how window closed after I’d opened it thought it said there was fridge in room but wasn’t

The shower room was clean, lots of coffee, milk and sugar available in the room. The staff were pleasant.

The window could not be shut, as it was too old, the sash window frame was too rusty. We had to stand on the two chairs provided in the bay window in order to close the curtains as they were torn at the top so would not run along the track. This was extremely dangerous and there is no way that the owners would not have known of these issues. On arrival the first impression was, " what have I booked for us?" As we walked up the stairs I was shocked and slightly alarmed at how dirty and old the stair carpet was. We stayed for 2 nights, the bed was clean, if it hadn't have been we would have left straight away. I wouldn't book this place again and sadly I can't recommend it either. Such a pity, as the staff were really nice.
