Awesome off-grid location

Super schöne Umgebung mit rustikalem Haus, das sauber und ordentlich war. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Weg zur Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben über eine unbefestigte Straße, war aber auch mit Kleinwagen völlig in Ordnung zu befahren. Im Haus selbst gibt es nur kaltes Wasser, aber im Nebenhaus gibt es eine Dusche mit warmem Wasser.

Lauter Generator vor der Tür, der Strom für die Unterkunft erzeugt, der abends ausgeschalten wird und auch erst wieder abends angemacht wurde, sodass es ab 00:00 Uhr kein Internet mehr gibt und nur noch einen Reststrom für gewisse Lichter (auch der Kühlschrank in der Küche ist dann aus).

The location is sublime. Tucked away in a valley, the view from the room is a stunning meadow. That's worth staying for. Facilities were simple but lovely. The only drawback was the flood damaged logging road getting to the place. It's not for the faint of heart - we drove slowly and got there with no damage to the car, but you cannot be in a hurry.

The logging road into the place was significantly damaged due to the rain. We were in a Nissan Rogue SUV and made it, but it requires nerve and patience to navigate the 12 km to the site.

The views were stunning. The staff was accommodating and friendly and the rooms were clean/ beds comfy!

This place has a lot of potential, but they are definitely lacking. We had no hot water until about 10:30pm and the generator was shut off by 11. In the morning there was no power and again no hot water. This was at 9:00am and we had to go find the staff to have it turned on. Left without a shower. They could maybe have some food or a few things like ice to get onsite. The place could definitely use some love and maintenance. Down by the river was beautiful but there was a pile of garbage and a bear had been dragging it around. And could use some maintenance along the grounds. Again it had a beautiful location and the staff were lovely and helpful: but this place needs a bit of a revamp.
