Thoroughly enjoyed my return visit. Great location, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Warm welcome

It was lovely and cosy
Would have been nice to go into the room through the pub during opening times. But this didn’t stop us from having an amazing time

Pots of porridge and Pain au Chocolate in the room was a nice touch. Comfy bed and nice shower room. Staff warm and welcoming. Good location with a nice walk down to some local restaurants etc.
There was a private function in the pub and although we anticipated some pub noise the loud music went on late and party revellers also staying there were pretty noisy……not the best when we had to be up at 03.30am for the airport. Had we been informed prior to our stay regarding the private function (which had started on our arrival at 3pm and we were stopped by one of the guests entering the venue and told “this is a private function and you’re not invited, we don’t even know you”) we would probably have changed our booking. However, the staff were really welcoming and helpful.

Excellent bedroom with modern en-suite.
Friendly greeting.
