There are not enough stars to rate this beautiful little peace of paradise. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabin was immaculate, as were the grounds, office/bar, laundry. We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay here! Our kids really enjoyed all the outdoor activities. There was worms in our cabin we found one in our refrigerator and one on the floor we tried to locate where they were coming from but couldn’t find anything. Our guess was maybe someone who previously stayed there had live bait in the refrigerator and they somehow got out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of five stayed in the Mammoth Cabin and absolutely loved our time at Black Elk Resort! The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and incredibly family-friendly. Our kids made so many friends during our stay, and the playground was a huge hit. There was plenty for families to enjoy, including ring toss, propane grills, lots of outdoor seating, and nightly campfires for roasting s'mores. The cabin was spotless, well-maintained, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept on while traveling. The complimentary coffee and waffles each morning were an absolute lifesaver before heading out for a day of adventures. The owners and staff were kind, welcoming, and clearly take pride in creating a great experience. We also loved the on-site taproom. It was the perfect place to grab a beer, glass of wine, or pizza when we wanted a relaxing evening close to our cabin. The location was incredibly convenient for exploring everything the Black Hills has to offer while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. Black Elk Resort struck the perfect balance between comfort, cleanliness, and family fun. We had a fantastic stay and are already talking about coming back with friends. Highly recommend! ❤️🏕️🔥🧇☕🍕🍻
