Great staffs, nice amenities and services. The only problem is the restaurant. Inferior arrangements for dinner and breakfast. Highly inappropriate for a traditional hot spa hotel restaurant .

The drinking lounge and onsen are especially great.

Breakfast for Foreign guest want more choice.
Like omelette , toast, good quality bread. Fresh orange juice( surrounded oranges, tangerine in this region)
Cappuccino. Descent Fork & knife ( available small plastic fork, spoon only )

We enjoyed our first time stay at Atami but didn’t see anything “premium” about this Onsen. The breakfast and dinner buffet was satisfying.
