A fairly new modern townhouse with everything we needed for our three day stay. A 20 minute walk to the CBD. The place was clean and comfortable. There is a great cafe just next door which makes a good breakfast and coffee - also open for lunch and dinner. There is a bus stop across the road for buses to the city centre.
The front door has a clear glass panel which provides no privacy to the living area. There were no instructions for the heat pump clothes drier which has a water tank that has to be emptied after each load. It took us a while to work out how to use the oven.
There is only room for 3 people to sit closely on the lounge.
The neighbours had a loud party one night until almost midnight. There are 2 flights of stairs up to the main bedroom and one for the 2nd bedroom.

Apartment was well furnished. Modern.
2 flights of internal stairs. Location, in an industrial area. Biggest issue was door lock. We were locked in overnight. Managed to get it unlocked in the morning but never locked it again! Piled suitcases against the door. Fortunately we could cope with the stairs but as 80 years +travellers it could have been a problem. Long walk, for us, into Christchurch, we took an Uber back. Booking.com description wasn't good!
