Barberini Retreat Boutique Hotel

The location was fantastic beside the Barberini Fountain. Lots of restaurants around and a few minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain. Also the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is just around the corner. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The shower was a nightmare. It kept running cold. After a long day walking around the city and looking forward to a nice hot shower before going out for dinner. It was really disappointing and annoying

Posizione strategica. Tranquilla. Staff molto disponibile e professionale. Colazione molto buona

La cassetta dello scarico del bagno funzionava male. Nulla di grave, ma senza questo inconveniente il punteggio sarebbe stato il massimo.

Great location with clean room and friendly staff.

Fantastic location right off Piazza Barberini. The staff is lovely; I only have positive feedback for the employees we interacted with during our stay. We enjoyed spending evenings on the rooftop terrace.

This hotel would benefit from some basic repairs and renovations. The property seems like it was renovated 10+ years ago and has not received much attention by its ownership since. Our original room had black mold growing along the base of the shower (see photos), the air conditioning gurgled loudly enough that it would’ve caused problems sleeping at night, and the wet bar sink smelled extremely musty. After raising the issue with the front desk staff, they moved us to another room on the property that was much cleaner and without any strange smells. Our new room had a less noisy AC unit and we had no problem sleeping. Breakfast spread is limited and not worth the price in my opinion.
