Fantastic location overlooking the Buffalo River and the river crossing sites used by Chelmsford’s column in the Anglo Zulu wars. Beautiful setting, lovely big rooms with terraces overlooking the river. Only 350 metres from Rorke’s Drift. Delicious breakfast and dinner also available as nearest restaurant is one hour’s driving away on rough tracks difficult to negotiate at night. Staff were all extremely helpful and efficient.
Nothing. A pity that there is no bar so need to BYO wine. There is a shabeen about 1 km distant with limited selection of beers,

You need to understand you are supporting a charitable institute and they are doing their best with limited resources
The staff are super and we met with some students who were great
We had one night where we suddenly got discoloured water, probably bottom of a tank being disturbed, but it is Africa and very rural so that is life
