Aultbea Hotel

The hotel is in an exceptional loch side location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the food (at both dinner and breakfast) was excellent and reasonably priced.

We stayed for one night while travelling the NC500. Location is to die for with amazing view and complete peace and quiet! Room was spacious and clean and just perfect! We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious - fresh and home-made chicken and leek pie with colcannon and was introduced to Cranachan for dessert! Raspberries, fresh cream and whiskey - amazing! Also had a fabulous breakfast - porridge with cream - best I've ever tasted and a full Scottish - set us up for the day! Staff were so friendly and happy to chat which was lovely! Would highly recommend staying and dining here. Thank you!

Location lovely, right in the shoreline in a fascinating part of Scotland, lots of WW2 history. Breakfast was really good. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy with lovely linen and pillows.

The bar area is rustic for sure, not much atmosphere. Evening menu limited and food was OK. Room spacious and well equipped but bathroom could do with a deep clean!
