The apartment is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from Hakusan station. There are many restaurants within a 5–10-minute walk, plus some grocery stores, and there is a post office on the same block across the street. The apartment building itself seems pretty new, and has a sleek modern look. It's clean, has good amenities, and -- for Japan -- is relatively spacious. The building is on a busy street, but it's not a main artery so it's not overly loud. Overall, it's comfortable enough for a small group / family to serve as a good home base for sightseeing in Tokyo.

Finding the apartment and getting the keys was difficult, despite the host sending instructions about how to do it. The property's name is on the side of the building (next to the door), so it's easy to miss it as you walk by. The keys are in a padlock-shaped box (like those used by real estate agents in the USA) attached to a metal mesh fence at the rear of the building, NOT the mailboxes next to the door. Took us a few minutes to figure that out. There is a keypad next to the door, too, which we thought was where we needed to enter the code to open the entry door, BUT you just need to use the key to unlock/open the door, which wasn't clear until we called their support number. So, getting into the unit was confusing.
