This hotel is literally on the lagoon and you can sit outside your room and watch the water buffalo and occasionally an elephant. The rooms are rustic but clean and the staff can’t do enough for you. Dennis was great!
You are quite a way out of Sigaria and so you’ll need a tuktuk but this is very easy if you get the app or Dennis drove us in one night.

Excellent location, great staff, loads of wildlife. Swimming pool was lovely.
The room and bathrooms were a little tired looking.

Location fpor us (7 people) was great. The food very, very good. Staff just lovely. Believe has had some not good reviews, The Family are working to improve, the swimming pool a great addition.
Would return, Pothana Village will only improve, a wonderful, friendly atmosphere, and so relaxing. Thank you very much.
The Family are really trying to improve the total experience.. feel certain they will achieve a 1st rate experience for travellers.

Very warm and helpful host and staff. Great food.
Rooms are a bit cramped. Open dining space attracts insects that fall in food in the night.
