Pandora's Hilltop House Resort

I couldn’t recommend this place more!! We had a fabulous time, the facilities were exceptional, the food was great! It felt very luxurious. The staff were so helpful, especially Will who helped us plan our itinerary. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! ☺️☺️

Pandora’s Hilltop House Resort was a highlight of my China mountain trip! The spectacular scenery and unforgettable mountain views made this stay truly special. A special thank you to Yuki for her outstanding help and kindness. She organized my short visit perfectly, helping me make the most of every moment and experience the beauty of the mountains to the fullest. Yuki truly made a difference! Highly recommended for the views, hospitality, and memorable experiences. I would love to come back!

The staff really make this hotel and from reading the reviews that's why we booked it! We didn't plan anything before we arrived - Will came to pick us up from the high speed train station in a very spacious, brand new, EV and immediately after check in, we sat down and planned a 3 day itinerary around the 2 (ridiculous, amazing and enormous) national parks, taking the upcoming weather forecast into account too. Honestly, without this, I would have no idea where to even begin as information online is sparse and mostly in Chinese. The national parks are so enormous and overwhelming, this kind of support is invaluable and we had such an incredible visit as a result. Will also booked and arranged all our entrance tickets, made recommendations and also sorted out the taxi back to the station on check out. The hotel is a 10min walk to one of the national forest park entrances which is really convenient - the village where the hotel is based is really cute, well maintained with lovely views and you can just walk around safely by yourself. It's mostly other accommodation and their restaurants, with 2-3 places you can eat/get a drink or you can jump in a Didi-taxi into Wulingyuan or Dayong if you want more options and shopping.

As others have mentioned, the property doesn't have a lift but the staff were so helpful, they refused to let us carry our own bags, so this is not an issue, but something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues.

Great location, good breakfast (relatively speaking) and extremely helpful staff - this is probably the main feature here: the staff will organize everything for you, and that is a huge advantage….

Not many food options in that area - not the property’s fault but a consideration for people nonetheless
