Marygate by Deuce Hotels Ltd

The location os spot on - right on Marygate at the Bullring, making walking to the bus station (3 mins) and Wakefield Westgate (5 mins) super easy. The security access is fantastic, giving solo female travellers like me additional peace of mind. Leah and Zach are on top of everything, with nothing being too difficult, for example, housekeeping got over-excited one morning and took my dirty towels but forgot to leave clean ones - a quick message alerting them and security dropped a new set off within minutes... really happy. This is my 2nd visit at Marygate by Deuce, and if (when) I come back to Wakefield, this is where I'll be staying, without question.

No elevator! But that's just my inherent laziness talking - the stairs are perfectly adequate, but an elevator would make navigating luggage much simpler 😀

Very clean, good space and very good location. Modern too which is nice.

There’s not really any good parking spots close by, and there was only 1 towel that was provided, would have been better with 2 but other than that can’t complain much.

Fantastic apartment. Super clean. Really quiet for it's location in the city centre and at a very reasonable price. I wasn't confident about the lack of a reception when I booked but it all worked out well. When I arrived, the entry door key code didn't work. After a 2 min call to the help desk number (provided in the booking details), everything was sorted - the guy on the help desk was very knowledgeable about where I should go and how I should use the key coded doors.

I can't fault the accommodation.

Room was ok, cheap stay

Room needs maintenance, ripped bed base, wonky side table. Kitchen facilities poor, no knives, no tea towel. Little things but made a big difference . Area didn't feel very safe, grim stairwell and fighting in the street.
