The place is very close to town, but still has all the perks of remoteness. Not a single soul in sight. It was very quiet and my family loved watching pheasants in the garden in the mornings. Very serene cottage. The house got everything you need! The communication with the owner was great, really wish I stayed there for longer! If I am ever around Carlisle again, I definitely am returning there!
In two bathrooms there were tiny sinks and you end up splashing water everywhere. We were a bit conscious about it as the wood around it already had water damage so perhaps bath mats and additional hand towel around those sinks would be great but honestly this is like tiniest flaw we could find. Everything else was perfect and this is only a suggestion to the owner if they do want to keep things functional for longer. By all means it's not disrupting your stay!
