Nice location and friendly staff.

There was no frying pan, only pots.

Perfect location, nice view, clean rooms. Quick communication, smooth evening autocheck-in, and we could safely leave our luggage in a room with CCTV surveillance due to our late flight departure.

Hi everyone! I’d like to share my review of the hotel Lux of the Vatican. This summer, I had just one week to find an affordable hotel in the city center; I found this place and didn't even read the reviews beforehand. The hotel is located close to a metro station and a great supermarket. When I arrived at the address, I was pleasantly surprised. The house and grounds looked absolutely wonderful—it felt like staying at a country cottage! There was plenty of greenery, everything was clean, and the house itself was very charming (it didn't look like a budget option). My room was clean and pleasant. I really loved the kitchen: in the mornings, I’d drink my coffee by the open kitchen door, listening to the cicadas singing like a melody, enjoying the fresh air and the company of a couple of lovely cats. The receptionist was very nice and always helpful. I don't know if it was allowed, but I took a chair from my room and sunbathed on the hotel grounds. The hotel is close to the metro, which is very convenient. It's about a 30-minute walk to the center. The only downside was the heat. But my trip was in July. I would happily return to this hotel in cooler weather. (The kitchen has dishes, pans, tea, and coffee.) Very welcoming! Sometimes I wished the hotel residents had a get-together in the evenings. I'd also like to add that the place is quiet and fairly safe (I returned to the hotel from the center at midnight every day). I’ve stayed in some luxury hotels in Europe, but I’m a very simple person, and my room in this hotel was simple but very pleasant (quiet, very clean, with hot water and good air conditioning). I highly recommend this place!

All is perfect! But I might have added slippers to the room (though I’ve stayed at many hotels in Rome, and none of them had slippers).

Checkin was smooth(late checkin) . Location is good if you are visiting vatican museum

There is no one in the property, there is €6 euro per day per person tax which is excluded from the price you pay in booking.com. They ll ask you to place the exact change in the room when you check out, and there is no proof that you actually paid, you cannot pay on card. Bathroom was leaking.
