Nelly was there to greet us on arrival, which was really helpful. A lovely spacious and well-equipped house.

The hosts were lovely - and the villa was great.
The people in Madeira were all so friendly and it was a pleasure to visit it
It is quite hilly - we did get a lot of taxi’s but they were easy to get and cheap

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Raimundo’s house in Funchal!
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Raimundo was a fantastic host, friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed.
The accommodation was excellent—clean, spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were great and made our trip even more enjoyable.
The location is another major highlight. The house is situated in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood with stunning views over Funchal. There is a grocery store nearby, which was very convenient, and the easy access to the main highway made it simple to explore the island and visit all the attractions Madeira has to offer.
Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed. We highly recommend Raimundo’s house to anyone visiting Funchal and would happily stay here again in the future. Thank you, Raimundo, for helping make our trip such a memorable experience!
Nothing to add, all was good!
