Nice views in the Nubian Village where is on land rather than on one of the islands. Seems to be newer so was nice a bit more modern compared to comparable properties.
It was challenging getting support from staff to go from property by boat to elephantine island using private speed boat. They claimed they didn’t know the going rate and when they got someone the guy asked for $25 for a 15 min boat ride which I knew was too high and the staff didn’t seem to help advocate for us. Ended up going next door to neighboring guesthouse and the manager helped us get someone and told us the going rate was $10usd.
