This hotel exceeded our expectations! Great quiet location near windmill and on edge of town. Amazing restaurant and bar! Clean, spotless new rooms. Most comfortable bed on trip. Fun vibe - wish I was still young. We were traveling with some seniors and they loved it too. Candlelight ambience. Incredible coffee and breakfast. But the staff is what makes the place - outgoing, kind, friendly young people: I can’t say enough good things about this place. We asked staff to make a reservation in town for our large group - when there wasn’t one available they booked us a backup in their very popular restaurant. It was one of our favorite meals of the trip:

This is not a criticism, but something people should know. We reserved a loft room which was two levels and we had to climb a spiral staircase to get to the comfortable king bed. If you don’t want to do that to go the bathroom make sure you get a standard room. I thought it was fun but my husband was glad our older relatives didn’t get such a room. Just be aware when booking.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. From the time we arrived, so welcoming, the staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Cozy vibe in the bar and restaurant. Enjoyed a breakfast and a dinner, all very good. Complimentary cappuccinos while waiting for a rooms were a nice treat. We had a deluxe king and the room was spacious, super clean, rainfall shower, tea and coffee makers. I found the bed to be very comfy and big pillows which I prefer. Great location in the town, right near the windmill. Reception was always so pleasant; called for a reservation for us at a restaurant that did not have availability so they made a reservation in the dining room for us just in case. Their dining room was very busy so we appreciated this so much. Over the top thinking to accomodate us, so proactive as we were a group of 6 on a Saturday night! I highly recommend this hotel and I would always return to here.

Our ravioli in the restaurant was not very warm when served. Tasty but needed to come out hotter. 3 of us had it and agreed.

Great hotel, friendly helpful staff and a great location

The hotel is in a superb position, very close to all amenities and easy walking distance if you didn't want to hire a bicycle. Breakfast was very tasty but overpriced. The reception staff were lovely. Ambiance of the hotel in the evening was lovely.

Booked as Andy but for Claire who was the one travelling. Hotel isn't clearly signposted so if your driver doesn't know where it is, might be a bit tricky! I was allocated a loft room. There were backless stairs to the bed, right at the end of the bed. Very steep and unpleasant at the best of times, but in the dark...absolutely petrifying. Bed was too soft.
