Great location, very modern and newly refurbished. Nicely decorated and the bed was huge and very comfortable.

Unfortunately the soundproofing must be nonexistent as we could hear the people upstairs as clearly as if they were in the same flat. It's also a holiday rental, so the people will change every few days or it might even be empty. Just a risk you take as the people we had stayed up talking every night and we had to sleep with earplugs. If you get lucky and the upstairs neighbors go to bed early or are not very chatty then it might be fine, but it was pretty distracting for us. It's a shame as it's a lovely apartment, so that's a bit of a risk for anyone booking.

The apartment is well designed and in a good location

1.We were supposed to check in one day before, when there was a terrible storm on our way from Ancona to Venice. We informed the host immediately as we couldn't even see out of the car window. This is called FORCE MAJEUR and despite the operating company agreed it was a really bad weather, they did not refund the first night. 2. We prolonged our stay by paying extra (since we lost the first night) and asked for fresh towels and bath mat. For 24h they couldn't bring some. They said that their laundry failed in cleaning some. 3. There was no espresso machine in the room and they claimed it was broken and they order a new one. However, during our 6 nights stay we never saw one. 4. We had one pillow each. We asked for two extra pillows and they replied they have no more to give us as it's their policy. 5. On the last day we asked for the assistance of a porter. As we didn't have a confirmation even 1 hour before our departure, we had to call at the operating company agency. The lady that replied was so rude. She said that she had no confirmation by the porter, but she never wrote that. We had to call and get to know that. And after asking for some assistance, she claimed that since it's not a regular service they provide, she had to hang up the line as she had other calls. At least, she passed the number of the porter. What a suprise, when we called him, he immediately confirmed. To make the long story short, the apartment is in a good location and looks nice. However it's being operated by a company and their communication and services are very poor to provide friendly hospitality.
