Very big appartment with balcony in safe area, excellent location.

Dit appartement ligt zeer gunstig t.o.v. het centrum als de akropolis. Prima te lopen. Zelfs een Lidl ligt op 15 min lopen. De omgeving is zeker doordeweeks rustig in het weekend wat meer rumour. Geen overlast en goede verlichting behalve bij het kleine parkje om de hoek. Overal eet en koffietentjes. Allemaal goed betaalbaar. Hoe dichter bij het centrum hoe duurder het wordt. Levendige wijk. Openbaar vervoer is binnen handbereik. Metro op 5 min zoook de bushalte naar het strand en het centrum. Voor € 8,20 een 5 dagen OV kaart kan je overal in stappen. Creer je eigen hop on hop off route. De host reageert wel op verzonden berichten.

De badkamer en keuken vallen tegen. De badkamer is heel klein en outdated. Hangknop voor de doucheknop los van de muur. De keuken heeft wel alles maar de koelkast had aan de binnenkant een dikke laag ijs werkte wel. Afzuigkap ontbreekt knopje om de ze aan te zetten. Onverwachts bezoek van een vorige huurder die wat vergeten was stond binnen het appartementen complex aan de deur van het appartement. De verwachting was dat er een monteur zou staan voor de koelkast. Het adres van dit appartement is niet Urban 16 maar Urban 18. Sta je ook niet aan het verkeerde sleutelkast te morrelen. Sleutelkast openen als het nog donker is, is een hele tour want de cijfers zijn heel slecht zichtbaar. Daadwerkelijk actie van de host bleef uit.

The location is definitely the strongest point of the apartment. It is very conveniently located in Koukaki, with easy access to the main sights and plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The host was also responsive: when we contacted him about the Wi-Fi issue, he replied immediately and tried to help.

We booked the apartment at the last minute, so we were aware that our options were limited. However, even taking this into account, we found the overall condition of the apartment disappointing and felt that it did not offer good value for money. The apartment feels quite dated and in need of renovation. The bathroom is old, the entrance door is not a security door, the bed was very creaky, and there was a noticeable musty/stale smell inside the apartment. The Wi-Fi was particularly poor — genuinely one of the slowest connections we have experienced in recent years. The host responded immediately when we raised the issue and suggested unplugging the router for 30 seconds and restarting it, but unfortunately this did not improve the connection. More generally, a great location alone should not be enough to make a property suitable for tourist accommodation. Some investment in the basic facilities, comfort and overall condition of the apartment is needed before it can reasonably offer guests good value for money.
