Oaks Gold Coast Hotel

We were upgraded from a hotel room to a studio apartment because of becoming an Oaks member - very appreciated - much more room for our 3 night stay. The situation was excellent - my husband had a conference next door at Crown Plaza so he only had to walk there.

Our hotel room was right next to the lift, so when we figured out what we thought was a plane taking off - we figured out it was the lifts which were quite noisy late at night. Also jackhammers Friday afternoon and Monday morning working somewhere in the building?

i like the friendliness of the staff at the Front desk especially when i did the last minute booking and Asian female staff was very helpful assisting me with everything i need that afternoon The Oaks Gold Coast Hotel offers spacious, clean rooms with stunning ocean views and friendly staff close to public transit. Views and Rooms: Mention if you stayed on a higher floor for amazing sea views. Praise the large, clean, and comfortable rooms (some feature an in-room spa bath). Location: Highlight the convenient spot near the tram stop (right outside/next to the property) and short walk to the beach, slightly away from the loudest parts of Surfers Paradise. Staff and Service: Call out any helpful staff members who made check-in smooth and went above and beyond. Value: Note that it offers great affordability and solid amenities like the outdoor pool.

Having worked in the tourism industry for 22 years, I look at hotel experiences with a trained eye, and I must say that Oaks Gold Coast Hotel is truly one of the best. From the moment you walk through the entrance to the pristine rooms and the excellent restaurants, everything is beautifully maintained. Kudos to the management and line staff for keeping the property in such fantastic shape. My only constructive feedback is for the front desk team. On a few occasions, staff seemed to intentionally ignore guests standing at the desk, continuing their tasks until they were explicitly called out, followed by a sudden shift to "Yes sir, how can I help you?" dealing with fake smiles. In hospitality, front-of-house staff must leave outside burdens at the door and greet guests instantly with genuine warmth. Despite this minor service hiccup, the overall hardware, cleanliness, and venue are outstanding. Well, done to the team—i had a great stay!

Location

Cramp space with a large cupboard, lounge and TV location. Remove the loung replace with a couple of lounge chairs and move the TV towards the balcony away from the bed. Ironing board took up to much space in the closet

Internet no working on tv so no tv. Also nobody to come and help. Ventilation fan permanent noice. Check in after 2pm Check out 10am… bit early for a for a Sunday celebrating Father’s Day.
