Comfortable and clean, compact room in a safe , quiet residential neighborhood. Some nice pubs just round the corner and Waitrose is a short walk. Well equipped kitchen and the washing machine was great to have!
The location is as described in the booking, so if you’re expecting to be right in downtown York you’ll be disappointed. But we actually enjoyed the walk and were able to explore different parts of the city as we went back and forth. And there are buses nearby if you don’t feel like walking!

The walk to the bathroom for the first floor. It was explained, so I was expecting it to be

The location was perfect. Many shops were within easy reach .
A couple of chairs in the room would certainly help. Finding the propert was a challenge.

Comfy mattress. Great sleep
No tea coffee in room. Toilet bathroom very far from room. Meant had to walk through kitchen and hallway after shower
