the location is great if you want to escape the busy city of shanghai. the town of the hotel as a nice supermarket and plenty of good food places (€2,- for dinner) the staff doesn’t speak English but is ready with a translator app and very friendly.
the bathrooms are not the picture but are fine, nothing special but it works. a regular western toilet, a sink and a shower with shower curtain. nice towels are also provided.
breakfast is definitely more local and less focused on westerners, but there is a bakery 10 minute walk from the hotel that has a good selection of pastries.
metro station is close and brings you to Disneyland or the city very easily.
the beds are quite hard but that didn’t bother me, the wals are a bit thin so of your neighbors are talking loudly you will hear it. but people are friendly so when i asked if it could be a bit quieter it was solved instantly.
