The isolated location was excellent. So peaceful and beautiful.
Though dog-friendly, the property showed no signs of previous canine guests. 👍👍

The beautiful views and tranquility of the property location with the nearby amenities of Ambleside, made for a great holiday. The benches in front of the property were a great place to sit and while away some time, to take in the view, watch and listen to the local wildlife.
Ambleside has some great cafés, pubs & a variety of restaurants. We didn't have a bad meal whilst there.
There wasn't anything not to like.

Stunning location atop Ambleside - well kept pool and sauna facilities on site, super gracious host
Carpets and bathrooms could use a freshen up/deep clean otherwise well appointed and comfortable
