Uryah Hotel Lombok

The staff were very helpful and friendly at the front desk, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, as the mattress was quite hard. The location was also a little out of the way, so unless you rented a bike or used taxis, there wasn’t really much within walking distance

Everything was great. Very comfortable and staff were wonderful. Food delicious and breakfast good value for money. Place was about 1k from the beach where you can learn to surf, rent a sun bed etc. Hotel can arrange a motorbike hire for 100k or have bicycles for 50k. Pool nice. Rooms very nice with some complementary cookies- at least I hope they were complementary!

The only suggestion I have is that they put some cushions on the benches, both in the communal areas and on the balconies.

Modern and new. Breakfast was nice although I would say similar to similarly priced resorts we stayed at.

The whole hotel is built on a small piece of land. When the outside is a wasteland, this gets rather claustrophobic. It costs IDR50k to get to and from Selong Belanak. A provider who quoted us for a tour upped it by IDR250k because we were in Selong Belanak and not Kuta. The roads are not safe even for the short walk to Selong Belanak beach. Finally, the therapist at the spa was great and worked hard but the ambience was poor. It isn’t really a spa but a small room tucked in a corner next to the laundry room.
