Its location is perfect for relaxing or getting the nearby train to Glasgow. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The good in the restaurant is of good quality and service very good too. The staff are helpful and friendly. It’s my 2nd visit here and would certainly return.
Nothing to dislike. Perhaps a little more choice on the menu other than burgers, battered fish etc. Steamed fish perhaps?

We had a surprisingly spacious and modern room. Huge thick white bathroom towels, a big shower and a lovely view of the Clyde and gardens from the bedroom window. Loved the breakfast member of staff (man) who showed us where to go and explained everything to us.
Only 2 teabags in the room, which was a bit mean! Great bathroom but the bottom of the bathroom door on the inside needed painting and there was black mould on the sealant in the shower, both things which could easily be dealt with. The breakfast buffet was a bit of a bun fight as there was a conference going on and other guests were having to use the same area which felt a bit strange.

Room and view was amazing
We were put in a room near what sounded like a generator it sounded like the extractor fan was running constantly so I didn’t sleep at all, also the toilet cistern was continually filling so all round the noise kept me awake.
