We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Il Golfo apartment in Lenno. The location and breathtaking view were exceptional, with convenient access to everything on the lake. Our hosts did their best to keep us comfortable; however, the bedroom’s air conditioning broke during one of the hottest periods of the year. Because of the Italian summer holiday, repairs couldn't be made until after we left. Despite this, our hosts went out of their way to help, bringing two fans the next morning and checking on us—truly beyond our expectations. This effort made the situation more manageable. The terrace was a beautiful feature—an ideal spot to relax in the evening, watch people stroll by on the walkway, or enjoy ice cream from the shop downstairs. And yes, the gelato is absolutely the best on the lake—we visited at least twice daily!

This apartment has very few drawbacks, but a couple are worth noting to help others. The bathroom is quite narrow and can be difficult to navigate, especially with more than one person. The kitchen is nicely sized and equipped for preparing basic meals, but it's not suitable for more complex cooking or larger groups. Given these features, while four people could stay here, I wouldn't recommend it - they might find it a bit cramped. However, for two adults and a child, it's perfect. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Lake Como!

Beautiful location, easy access to ferry and restaurants
