Everything was on the right level of quality

We arrived late evening and the apartment was not cleaned from the previous guests (the contact person told us that was a mistake in planning) Was neccessary to go out on the streets until 11 PM to let them clean it

Nous avons aimé : - l'emplacement dans Rome, dans un quartier authentiquement romain, Pigneto, en retrait des endroits touristiques : vie de quartier, restaurants sympas ; - l'appartement en lui-même, moderne et spacieux avec deux chambres et deux grands balcons (malheureusement, il a fait tellement chaud que nous n'en avons pas profité comme nous l'aurions souhaité).

Nous n'avons pas apprécié : - le manque cruel d'équipements dans la cuisine : il n'y a que le strict minimum et encore, c'est discutable, ce qui incite à manger à l'extérieur ou à prendre des plats déjà cuisinés à emporter ; - le manque d'une bonne cafetière : il y avait deux cafetières italiennes : la petite n'a pas fonctionné et la plus grande était sale et avait une poignée cassée ; il a fallu trouver une astuce pour pouvoir se saisir de la cafetière sans se brûler les doigts. Le café du matin, c'est sacré et sans un bon café, la journée commence mal 😓

Nothing. It was perfect

The best in the place is the way it is separated from the surroundings, giving a premium feel of privacy and calmness from the fast pace of Rome. Terraces are magnificent and I am sorry we almost did not manage to spend any time there as we were out walking and sightseeing from about 09:00-20:00. Conad City supermarket next to the subway is the best one nearby and there is a also a good pizza place 50m away from it. Cleanliness is very good and the host had left us a whole jar of good coffee. Really appreciated there were 2 sets of keys. One small advice - for a family of 4, do not take the bus shuttle from/to the airport, but use the mobile apps (i.e. itTaxi) to get a taxi - it is literally the same price, but gets you directly to your place within 1/2 or 1/3 of the time and effort. The internet quality was quite good. Bathrooms were comfortable.

Shortcomings are minor and most are easy to be addressed. There is no mosquito net on the doors/windows which caused us a couple of nights chasing these little blood-suckers (there are nets for all types of doors on the market). The mattresses were acceptable, but too Ikea-ish and thin. The air conditioning is strange - it appears like such but is not and cooling/heating capabilities are limited by "whatever someone centrally runs on the pipe", so it is good the hosts were having air heater blowers. We did not manage to turn the TV on regardless of the remote controls and batteries, but really - this was no drama. We knew this, but is worth mentioning - the upper room is not having a door at all, which means all the noise from the kitchen is pretty audible in the morning and one could not continue sleeping once the people downstairs are up.
