Perfect location. Room was very cosy, albeit a little tight in places, and the pub downstairs very welcoming
Nothing really, it was great for a short stay but if I were staying longer I would have preferred a larger room

Always a comfortable stay at the Albert. Excellent location, friendly staff and good food. I visit the theatre next door but won't buy a ticket there until I am assured of a place at the Albert. I've stayed in a couple of other places in Bowness but nothing comes close for my needs.
My mobility isn't too good these days (I've been visiting since I was younger and fitter) and I find the fire doors and the stairs aren't as easy to negotiate now. I feel sure that the staff members would help though. I really miss the complimentary breakfasts I got years ago; they were wonderful.

The location was very central, but note also lots of traffic noise. You could enjoy meals or a drink on site and were offered a discount if you were a guest.
The rooms were newly decorated - albeit a little over the top with mirrors and some cliche "inspirational" messages around the room that quite honestly were not needed.
The traffic noise at night and early in the morning made it difficult to sleep and the car parking was a long walk from the hotel and quite expensive.
