Location and view was excellent and the apartment itself was fantastic..
Not being able to communicate directly with reception desk and drop off/pick up keys off site is a huge pain. The reception staff really do not even care that you exist because you are not a hotel guest when you book this way. Waiting forever for elevators also wasted a lot of time (one time I waited over 20 mins). No one flagged parking with me at time of booking so we had to park miles away making any outing a mission.

Due to road closure it was a little more difficult to get to pick up point and there was no parking at the pick up point
Only one key - would be better if there was an option for two keys being a 2 bed apartment.

It was clean and in an excellent location. The contact person was excellent at getting back to me about anything I needed.

The room was amazing. Beautiful view, comfy bed, very clean and tidy
Dealing with the host was a nightmare! We had seen that some people had said the check in process was hard but that was an understatement. Collecting the key was easy, the problem was the communication before that. I had multiple messages from different texts asking me for credit card details (for a damages deposit hold) and ID pictures before they would send me the details for collecting the key. After entering my credit card details 6 times and sending pictures of my ID multiple times they said the only way to do it was to give me my credit card details over the phone or transfer them the deposit (their system didn't seem able to accept photos or credit card details and the way they overcame this was by just getting you to submit again and again and again!) I had to get on my plane to Australia not knowing if I would have accommodation when we landed. It was starting to feel a bit like a scam but I decided to risk it and give them the credit card details over the phone. I didn't hear anything back after that so had to try and track them down again to be told I needed to submit a photo of my ID again (despite someone having already said they had it). Finally they agreed to give us the details so we could enter the apartment but I'm not sure the stress of this process was worth it. Shame as the apartment is great.
