Mentari homestay

Superbe séjour à Mentari homestay où nous avons été très bien accueillis par Stefen et sa famille et où nous avons fait de superbes excursions en longboat avec Rico (Piaynemo, Baie de Gam...). Nous avons beaucoup aimé le bungalow au dessus de l'eau d'où nous partions directement en snorkelling. Il est bien équipé avec une grande terrasse, très appréciable pour se prélasser dans le hamac comme dans la chaise longue tout en regardant les poissons passer. Les toilettes sont séparés de la douche et sont situés derrière, au bout d'un ponton. L'ensemble est propre et fonctionnel. Une mention spéciale pour les repas qui étaient très bons et pour le goûter qui nous attendait au retour des excursions. Le bungalow est situé près d'un village très agréable, lieu vivant et authentique, où nous avons pris plaisir à nous promener et à discuter avec ses habitants. Nous y reviendrions sans hésiter.

The bungalows are new and comfortable, with nice access to the sea. The food is good , abundant and the owners are genuinely kind and professional. What works well is the location right in the village – you get to experience authentic local life, and the people here are friendly and welcoming. The owner is helpful with organizing activities and gave us useful directions for exploring the area, including arranging a trip to see the Red Bird of Paradise. Overall, this is a quality place to stay in Raja Ampat. We'd be happy to return. 100% Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From the homestay there is direct access to the reef and beautiful corals, but the current is a bit strong , so if you don't have any issue in swimming so definitevely you will love this place but if you are searching for a sandy beach maybe the position is not right for you since there is not any beach close

Der Wasserbungalow liegt zwischen zwei kleinen Dörfern, sodass man kleine Spaziergänge machen kann. In 5 min. erreicht man zu Fuß ein Divecenter, die einen Pick up Service per Boot für die Tauchausflüge anbieten. Touren zu den Paradiesvögeln und sonstigen Highlights werden von der Hostfamilie angeboten. Durch die Ostausrichtung des Bungalows ist man vor der prallen Mittags-/Nachmittagsonne geschützt und es weht immer eine leichte Brise. Eine richtige Dusche und Toilette sind im separaten Bambushäuschen am Stegende am Strand erreichbar. Das immer frisch zubereitete Essen (immer mit frischem Gemüse und Obst, Reis und Fisch oder Huhn) hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Der bisher einzige Wasserbungalow ist sehr einfach ausgestattet und etwas abgenutzt, es wird derzeit ein zweiter errichtet.

Stefen en zijn vrouw zijn geweldig. Ze kunnen vanalles voor je regelen en super goed koken. Het huisje is ruim en brandschoon. We zijn teruggekeerd, het was de beste plek tijdens onze maand Raja ampat.
