Le Mas du Sablas, authentic Provençal mas classified 4 * with its shaded terrace and its old washhouse, is located on a 28,000 m² property, part of which is fenced and planted, ideally located 5km from the Pont du Gard.
Doves, hoopoes, cicadas, crickets and dragonflies contribute to the Mediterranean charm of this property dotted with poppies as soon as the warm weather arrives.
You can also enjoy a wide range of fruit trees on the property, such as apricot, apple, fig, cherry, pomegranate and many others.
It offers its guests a capacity of 6 people on 175 m².

This is a very traditional Provençal house! Antiques everywhere. We arrived late but that didn’t seem to bother Christiane. I had messaged her before to get better directions and this really helped. The house is at the end of the street, on the left with a stone that says “Mas Du Sables” at the entrance. It is a little more difficult to find at night but we managed. It is a very large space so room to spread out. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. To get to one of the bedrooms you have to walk through another bedroom and past the bathroom but it worked out because we were all early to bed people.

We loved the Mas at Meynes and Christian the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Although she lived at one end of the property she made sure that we had full privacy but was always around if we had any problem. The house was beautiful with lots of Provençal features and outside were two huge plane trees to give you some shade, which was necessary as the temperature on our stay was well over 30deg. Loved the local town of Uzes. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful property.

Our hostess was most gracious, giving us a lovely welcoming aperatif and munchies. While we did not speak French, we spent time trying to communicate and her enthusiasm was most appreciated. Her home is amazing; filled with antiques which have been in her family for generations. Our only suggestion is that the address and directions be more clear. The address provided through Brno shows something with SN sorts and which makes no sense and which our gps could not locate. We spent a lot of wasted time trying to find the home but once we got there, it was all worth it

We were delighted with this property and with Christiane Bernard's genuine care and kindness with a delightful offering of food on our first evening (when all the local shops were closed), and indeed again later in the week. Whilst kind and attentive Christiane was never over-bearing and we were able to enjoy her beautiful home and garden in complete privacy.
The house is fantastically situated close to Avignon, Nimes, Pont du Gard and so many other beautiful towns and villages.
The bedrooms were occasionally a little warm and we struggled to keep them cool without inviting in too many bugs and insects; but we lived!
We enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful week at Mas du Sablas. Thank you Christiane.
